The Disney Grooming Syndicate, one the vilest and most perverted corporations on the planet, is about to face even more layoffs.
\n\nA memo written last week by Horacio Gutierrez, Disney’s Chief Legal and Global Affairs (LGA) Officer, warns his staff that there will be a layoff wipeout in the coming weeks. What’s more, the memo strongly implies that Disney’s embrace of AI is the cause. The memo directly refers to a staff “reinvention as technology reshapes.” These layoffs will only affect the LGA department alone, which currently employs about a thousand people. Earlier reports made clear that additional layoffs are expected in other departments:
\n\nNoting that Disney’s “legal, government relations, operations, and others, are going through their own reinvention as technology reshapes how work gets done, and the operating models that underpin those professions,” Gutierrez says he’s “taking a dispassionate look at every aspect of how we do our work, so we can do it in a more efficient and cost-effective manner.”
\n\n“Obviously, this will require hard choices about where and how we deploy our resources and investments, including our staffing investments and how we work will look different in the months and years ahead,” Gutierrez writes in the memo…
