Boxing icon Evander Holyfield will join President Donald Trump at a rally in South Carolina on Wednesday afternoon as the president makes his final push in the midterm elections.
\n\nTrump will host a campaign rally in Clemson, South Carolina, to support Republican Sen. Darline Graham, who is running for election in her own right after being appointed to fill her brother’s term after his death in June.
\n\nTrump has been a big supporter of Graham, backing her appointment to fill out Lyndsay’s unfinished term and her run for a full term this year.
\n\nHolyfield, 64, is the former heavyweight champion of the world, and is probably best known for beating Mike Tyson twice — including the bout in 1997 in Las Vegas where Tyson bit Holyfield’s ear. Tyson was hit with a $3 million fine and suspended from boxing for the outrageous foul.
\n\nThe boxing champ has long been an avid friend and supporter of the president.
\n\nHolyfield appeared on stage with Trump in Florida in 2018 and has often spoken about his support for the president.
\n\nIn another example of Holyfield’s connection to Trump, the president’s son, Don Trump Jr., provided commentary during Holyfield’s 2021 bout with Vitor Belfort.
